Dr Mary Jones. BDS (Lond.)

Dental Surgeon

Mary is Practice Principal. She trained and qualified at Guy’s Hospital, London, and lectured in Children’s dentistry at King’s College Hospital London. Mary is a founder member of the Quality Care Group. As a successful practitioner for over 22 years, Mary has a reputation for gentle care and treatment of nervous patients, and is experienced in the latest advancements in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Dr Tomos Lavery BDS (Lond.) MJDF RCS (Eng.) PG Dip (Kent)

Dental Surgeon

Tomos graduated from King’s College London and has passed examinations to become a member of Royal College of Surgeons, England. Tomos has a Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Dental Care and  is also qualified in facial rejuvenation and anti-wrinkle treatments. In addition to working in a private practice in Bromley, Kent, Tomos has also worked at Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton and Eastbourne General District Hospital.

Tomos is a member of the International Team of Implantology and provides Dental Implants here at the practice.

Outside Dentistry, Tomos has a passion for Opera and Singing and receives vocal training at Royal Academy of Music. He founded Sing 2 Smile, a new organisation working closely with SmileTrain, raising money for Cleft Lip and Palate Surgeries across the world through musical concerts showcasing young and exciting musicians across the UK. Most recently, he held a music concert  in Rye, East Sussex which raised nearly £3500. Cleft repair surgery costs as little as £150 so this money will help pay for 23 children to have life changing surgery.

Dr Gill Traynor BDS (Lond.) Hons

Dental Surgeon

Gill qualified from Guy’s Hospital in 1982 with Honours. After doing a six month house job in Oral Surgery, she went on into general practice. She regularly attends postgraduate courses and conferences to ensure that she keeps up to date with the latest dental developments. Gill has a special interest in the treatment of periodontal disease and has been a certified INMAN ALIGNER practitioner since 2010. Her hobbies include tennis and sculpture. GDC 57367.

Professor Brian Millar BDS (Dundee) FDSRCS(Eng) PhD (Lon) FHEA

Specialist

Professor Brian Millar is a Professor in Blended Learning in Dentistry and a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the King’s College London Dental Institute at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London.

Professor Millar is also a Director of Distance Learning for King’s College London, a Director of Distance Learning in Dentistry and a Programme Director for MClinDent (Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics). Professor Millar has over 160 publications in clinical dentistry and he is a series editor for the six volume series ”Essentials in Aesthetic Dentistry”.

Professor Millar is a well-known speaker in the national and international circuits and in the media. He is also an experienced teacher to both undergraduates and postgraduates, and is a well-known provider of continuing development courses for dentists in the UK.
